The 5th Director / Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria French Language Village (NFLV), Professor Samuel Oladiipo Kolawole, PhD, FNITI, in company of Principal Officers of the institution, played host to officials from Badagry Branch of Zenith Bank plc recently, marking a significant step in strengthening the existing relationship between the two institutions. The officials were led by Mr. Samuel Ajayi-Olawaye, the Branch Manager, others on the team were Dr. Oluwaseun Oguntunwase and Mr, Kehinde Ajayi serving as relationship Managers.
Mr. Samuel Ajayi-Olawaye, while stating the purpose of the visit
informed his host that the bank has noticed a change in one of the signatories to
NFLV account, indicating the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer and that
prompted the visit which is aimed at familiarizing with the man at the helms of
affairs. The visit is also aimed at reaffirming Zenith Bank's commitment to
maintaining the long-standing relationship with NFLV. The Branch Manager assured
Professor Kolawole of Zenith Bank's unwavering support and readiness to assist
the Inter-University Centre whenever the need arose.
Professor Kolawole in his response appreciated his guests and
expressed his desire to sustain the established partnership. He acknowledged
Zenith Bank as a valued partner and made a demand of the bank to re-establish
its Cash Centre with installation of Zenith Bank Automated Teller Machine (ATM)
on campus as it was some years back, in order to facilitate easy access to
banking services for members of the NFLV Community stressing the inconveniences
faced by staff and students who are forced to travel off-campus for simple bank
transactions. Speaking further, the French Village boss highlighted the
potentials for a mutually beneficial Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
initiative from Zenith Bank, recognizing the bank's status and the positive
impact of such initiative. He reiterated commitment of French Village and its
Ventures to banking with Zenith Bank, commending its exceptional services and
expressing optimism for a fruitful outcome from the meeting.
In the course of interaction, Mr. Kehinde Ajayi, the Account
Officer to some corporate accounts within the NFLV was highly commended for his
commitment to customers services which has made their banking experiences with
Zenith Bank very easy, memorable and pleasurable.
The meeting signaled a positive step towards enhanced
collaboration and mutual support, promising to benefit both institutions and
the wider NFLV community.
